The one that stood out the most was the Shark attack image. The reason it stood out so much was because of the shark for the most part and it seems like every one would be talking about that as if it was real. I find it funny because the editor took the image and made it into a big deal out of a simple picture. I like this pic because it took so little time to make such a serious picture all they had to do was turn the picture around and paste the shark.

In the movie Killing us softly I could agree with a couple of the the statements she made but she would take it to far with the part where she showed a little girl with a flower looking sad and said that it was a steriotype, and boys would always be shown as the hyper adventerous people. But she had nothing to say about that, some homosexuals that would see the dirty adventurous guys and wouldnt like that just like girls dont always want to be shown as always needing guys and always showing their body. In Tough Guys i agreed with most of the things he said. It Kind of scared me to see all the school shootings that was happening in the past couple of years that made me think, Somethings got to happen to stop this.

• When i hear a rap song, I pay more attention to the beat than to the lyrics.

I agree with this comment, when I listen to rap music I listen to the beats more than the the lyrics. The quote that I think reflects on this statement would be "It's only--at the end of the day it's only entertainment." because I like hearing the bass and the rhythm instead of the lyrics. But at the end of the day I know the rhymes and words from the song will be in my consciousness. After writing this blog post i might want to start listening to what im letting into my brain.

super bowl ads

i learned that Superbowl ads cost a lot of money to host. and the people that buy the spot for the commercial only get 30 secs. They use comedy so people will recognise their ad. They use pretty girls to grab people's attention.

Concepts

The concept i understand the most would be number 2. Because its pretty simple, Shiny cars, pretty girls, colorful text, close up pictures just to grasp people's attention.
